Portfolio prep workshop for hs students @ Village Green
Join portfolio coach and fellow Village Green resident Linda Pollack for a college art portfolio workshop on Zoom, designed for high school students and their parents. We’ll be reviewing how to start building a college list, how to prepare for National Portfolio Day, what to do this summer, and above all else, how to develop your best portfolio!
We will also be covering ways to develop a supplemental portfolio, for students who DON'T want to pursue college art programs, but DO want to find a way to include their art and creative projects with their college application.
Linda has been coaching students on their college art portfolios for over a decade, covering visual arts, architecture, design, human ecology, photography, fashion, film, interactive arts, curatorial studies, media studies, art theory, history and more. Her students have been accepted to RISD, Parsons, NYU, Cooper Union, FIT, The School of Visual Arts, Pratt Institute, Cornell, Syracuse, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, University of Texas Austin, University of Arts London, Glasgow School of Art and Oxford University, among other programs. She is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the Western Association for College Admission Counseling.
