Linda met with my daughter and helped her wade through the nuances of pulling together a professional quality portfolio for her application to college. She helped edit and make suggestions as they selected images, photo montages, and written sections for each category. Linda’s familiarity with the process of college applications combined with her articulate and concise vision guided us and relieved much of the stress involved in this process.

I call Linda our "Portfolio Whisperer"! I was referred to Linda by my daughter's college counselor to help create her portfolio for art college admissions. Not knowing much about portfolio making, I was feeling overwhelmed by the prospect. From our first conversation, Linda was so reassuring and I felt relieved. Making a portfolio is an intense and complex undertaking because it's not just about a body of work, but these days you have to deal with complicated technology as well.
Linda supported my daughter so perfectly, helping her identify her strongest work, improve upon her existing work and develop new pieces to complete her portfolio. She is an expert at presenting and documenting work, even the most difficult and challenging pieces. Linda knows how to bring out a student's talent, commitment and passion. The results were that my daughter created a very strong portfolio and was admitted to a number of excellent programs. She is now thriving in her design program. For us, I know it couldn't have happened without Linda.

Thank you so much, Linda.  I am sure everyone tells you this, but it would have been impossible without you.

Thank you so much for helping me with the whole college portfolio process. I honestly don't know what I would have done without your help. I miss our weekly meetings! Even though it was grueling at points, you were always so encouraging and patient with me. It wasn't all exhausting though! I had so much fun brainstorming everything with you and figuring out what pieces to use, then designing and packaging my entire portfolio. Seriously, I would not have come close to having the final portfolio that I created without your help. Looking back, I have no idea what I would have done. Even when I thought something was the best it could be, you always had a suggestion to enhance it and make it even better. It's so weird to think that we have been talking about this for the past year and now it's finally here and happening. I honestly can't thank you enough for all of your help, advice, encouragement, and patience throughout this entire process. You taught me and inspired me more than I can put into words and more than you know.

Working with Linda was a great experience. During our first few meetings we talked about my work, what I was focused on and what I liked the best. After spending the first two meetings going through my work, she helped me pick and choose what she thought were the strongest pieces. She never told me that I had to include or exclude anything.

Working with Linda, for me, was just like having a mentor to make sure I was making well thought out decisions. I never felt like I had to change anything but all of her suggestions drastically improved the presentation of my work. We spent a great deal of time laying out numerous photos and continuously switching around photographs to find the perfect orders. I really believe that working with Linda helped me create a very, very strong portfolio which made my acceptances to top art schools a breeze.
